​Day 1: Departure for Guwahati
Board the train from Kolkata heading toward Guwahati. Overnight journey on the train.

​Day 2: Arrival in Guwahati & Local Sightseeing
Arrive in Guwahati in the morning. Check into the hotel and enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a local sightseeing tour covering the holy Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple (Peacock Island), Vashistha Temple, and the Purva Tirupati Sri Balaji Temple. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

​Day 3: Guwahati to Shillong (via Umiam Lake)
After breakfast, drive toward Shillong. En route, experience the beautiful, massive Umiam Lake (Barapani). Upon reaching Shillong, visit the Shillong View Point and spend a vibrant evening walking around Police Bazar. Overnight stay at Shillong.
